Course Description:
Middle School Agriscience is an exciting, hands-on introduction to the world of agriculture, food, and natural resources. Students will explore a variety of topics including animal care, plant growth, soil science, food systems, and environmental stewardship. They’ll participate in interactive projects like growing plants, exploring animal breeds, and learning basic ag mechanics and technology.

This course also introduces leadership and teamwork skills through the FFA, helping students build confidence, communication skills, and responsibility. Whether students live on a farm or in town, this class connects them to the science and systems that impact their daily lives.

This course introduces students to the environment and the natural resources that support life on Earth. Topics include ecosystems, water and soil conservation, wildlife, forestry, and renewable energy. Students will learn how human actions affect the environment and explore ways to protect and manage natural resources responsibly. Hands-on projects, outdoor activities, and environmental investigations make this class engaging and meaningful for students who care about nature and science.

Middle School FFA

Course Description:
Middle School FFA introduces students to the leadership, teamwork, and personal growth opportunities offered through the National FFA Organization. Students will learn about agricultural careers, public speaking, recordkeeping, and community service while developing confidence and leadership skills. Hands-on activities, team projects, and FFA events help students build a strong foundation in both agriculture and life skills — preparing them for future success in and out of the classroom.
